Sexy Sax Man Mark Lombardi-Nelson

Watch out sexy sax man legend Sergio Flores! Mark Lombardi-Nelson is coming to your house and eating your fame! This picture is taken of my very close buddy Mark Lombardi-Nelson playing his saxophone on top of a table at a talent show. It was hilarious and got a good angle and photos. What talent you have?

Guitar Center

Guitar Center, originally uploaded by dannyusf.

Got permission from the Guitar Center in Tampa to take a couple photos for a friends project. I enjoyed this one a lot. Great angle and got a expression in a way from the guitar. We spent about a good three hours playing guitars, and there was a classical guitar I was THIS close to buying. ohhh if only I had more money.

Rack Em Stephen

Rack Em Stephen, originally uploaded by dannyusf.

Over spring break I got to hang out with some high school friends and we played a lot of pool. It was fun, especially since during the whole week I only lost once! So my friend Stephen had to rack the balls up a lot because loser had to rack. He did it so much that I thought it is important that we document this moment.

Richmond Tree

Richmond Tree, originally uploaded by dannyusf.

Ever visit Richmond, be sure to stop by the Maymont Park. It is amazing! Tons of awesome fountains, some that you can interact with, hiking, museums and all funded through private donations. It is a great spot where people in Richmond go to take their wedding pictures. I saw this tree and noticed that I was living in Florida for so long that no leaves intrigued me. So I got in an angle and took a picture of it and kind of liked the result.

What song has kept you on track?

This is a question for a student, for a parent, for a professional, for an amateur, for a freelancer or for someone sitting down figuring where their life has gone.

What song has kept you on track in your path? We all hit road bumps and tend to make poor decisions that influence regret, but with the ease of listening to anything someone wants to, we have allowed the art of music to bring us back to a state of solitude. Some people will say it will keep me from derailing my life, hits me back to reality, this song has changed me...and I want to know what it is.

Here is mine

This song always hits me deep. Something about Jackson Browne just making an acoustic version of his already moving These Days with David Lindley's fiddle just takes me away and reminds me to keep on track, this is reality and I have to focus. This song has kept me on track throughout my whole college career, three years so far and will be hopefully for the rest of my life.

The Pier

The Pier Couple, originally uploaded by dannyusf.

The Pier's destiny is not looking too good for St. Petersburg. It has been official that it is going to be torn down and there doesn't seem to be much support from citizens against the decision. So I am going to take more pictures of the amazing architecture success until the day it comes down.

I Love Baseball

Ed Smith Stadium, originally uploaded by dannyusf.

I really hope to get a press pass soon so I can report about baseball. I really do love football and basketball, but something about baseball especially at the age of 21 now that I just enjoy America's past time. My first time at Ed Smith stadium in Sarasota, Florida and I loved it! Amazing weather for baseball, played the Yankees and just had a blast. Even though we were in standing room only, it was great! Hope to go to more.

Fishy Fish

Fishy Fish, originally uploaded by dannyusf.

This little goldfish was going up to get some food from his bowl that I fed him and went for a little angle shot. I liked the color of the water, they were about to change the water but I got the picture before they cleaned it.

Imagine this as an office!

So I am 21 today and it feels old already. I tried alcohol for the first time and could only withstand two sips of liquor and two sips of wine. Does this conflict with my manhood? Maybe. Does this motivate me to someday get a job with an office like John Lassetter? Hell yeah.

Bonnaroo Lineup Announced!

IT IS HERE!

Bonnaroo has finally released its highly anticipated 10th Year Anniversary lineup for 2011! I went to Bonnaroo last year and had a blast but still debating if I should go to this years line up! I made a first reaction video log of the line up and you can check that out here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31PS2RJY4OM

I will say that there is some really cool musicians in this years lineup, a lot of bands that I would have LOVED to have seen last year but didn't get to such as Beirut, Chiddy Bang, Deer Tick, Deerhunter, My Morning Jacket, THE STROKES and Explosions in the Sky. BUT I don't think that this years lineup has more well known bands such as last year with Dave Matthews, Jay-Z, Michael Franti and Stevie Wonder to just name a few. The biggest headline band this year is Eminem and Arcade Fire, which might say a lot on its own. So this year will be a great year for those hippies, hipsters, indie people who follow these not so well known internationally recognized bands to hop around in mud with a bunch of hippies!

There are still some bands though that didn't make the cut that really surprised me such as Phoenix, Deadmau5, The XX, Local Natives and Temper Trap who all seem to have been gaining a lot of popularity since last years Bonnaroo. But it will still be a good one, I would say that this year has more bands I am interested in seeing than last year, but I think last years lineup wins against the 10th anniversary lineup.

Also check out the new logo for RooRoo, very wha?

They are back!

YES! It has been four years in the making and FINALLY The Strokes are releasing new material for their highly anticipated album this year, and I must say it has been worth the wait. Last year we got a glimpse of Julian Casablancas solo album, but it was not the best material out there, I might even say Julian Plenti's solo album might have been better. BUT NOW this single, Under Cover of Darkness, is just amazing! It is like everything I wanted to hear from The Strokes and I just can not wait to hear more! If you haven't heard it, here is a youtube stream for the song from The Strokes.

Details

DSC_0054, originally uploaded by dannyusf.

I have been going through my pictures that I took about a year ago and recently and noticed that I love it when I take pictures of my dogs and I get the fine details in the hairs. Something about it just makes the picture more alive, kind of like its own specular highlight. It is accomplished through the right amount of flash and some photographers would hate a picture like this, but something about it just attracts me.

Australian Cockatoo

Australian Cockatu, originally uploaded by dannyusf.

During our road trip this December, our first stop was at Atlanta, Georgia. We stayed with this awesome family who cooked me the best chili in the world, it had no kidney beans and turkey meat instead of beef, but that's another story. This family loved animals, they had two cats, a dog and this very special Australian Cockatoo that is older than 30-years-old. He walked around the house and acted like he was a dog and will click to people to try to intimidate them. It was an awesome time and I tried to get a good shot on the bird. It was very difficult cause it kept moving and I couldn't get a good shot worth showing anyone.....until it picked up his corn and started eating it and not caring about my camera. I landed some good shots, but I felt money on this one.
